Currently, the DLC support is only functional for the PC version of the game. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game do not currently support DLC. This is being worked on and the team is aiming to have DLC support for all versions of the game by the end of the year.
In addition, the team is also working on a way to allow players to create and share their own DLC maps. This is still in development and there are no definite plans yet, but the team is aiming to release this feature sometime in 2018.
