The WANA Project is a life-saving program that provides clean water and sanitation to people in remote, rural areas of New Zealand.
The project was started in 1990 by the wife of a farmer in the Waikato region of New Zealand. She was concerned about the health of her family and the health of the community, which was isolated and suffered from poor sanitation.
The project provides clean water and sanitation to more than 1,500 people in remote rural areas. The water is delivered by helicopter, and the toilets are built near the homes of the families we serve.
We are very grateful to our donors and partners for their support of the WANA Project.
