SonarWatch is a new way to stay informed about your vessel's position and speed while underway. With SonarWatch enabled, you can receive real-time updates on your vessel's position and speed from our Vessel Positioning Service (VPS).
To use SonarWatch, you must first enable the service on your vessel. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Open the Settings app on your device.
2. Tap Navigation & Location.
3. Under Services, tap Vessel Positioning Service.
4. Enable the service by checking the box next to SonarWatch.
5. Tap OK.
Now whenever you have a VPS connection, you'll be able to use SonarWatch to view your vessel's position and speed.
To start using SonarWatch, open the SonarWatch app and sign in. Once you're logged in, you'll see a map of the world with your vessel's current position highlighted. To see more information about your vessel, tap the info button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
If you need to stop using SonarWatch, uncheck the box next to SonarWatch in the Navigation & Location settings menu.
