Ispolink was founded in 2001. The company's original name was Kyivtelecom. In 2003, the company merged with the Telekomunikacii Ukrainy company, and the name was changed to Ispolink.

In 2006, Ispolink acquired the Ukrainian subsidiary of the Dutch telecom company KPN.
