The DILI is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization that provides support and resources for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) individuals, families, and allies in the Dominican Republic.
The DILI was founded in 2003 as a grassroots response to the lack of support and resources available to LGBTQ individuals in the Dominican Republic. Today, the DILI is one of the largest LGBTQ organizations in the Caribbean and has a presence in 10 provinces throughout the country.
The DILI’s mission is to provide support and resources to LGBTQ individuals and their families in the Dominican Republic, and to advocate for LGBTQ rights and equality.
