What is Akroma (AKA)?
Akroma is a white and blue dragon goddess of justice and law in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. She is the goddess of light and is the patron of paladins.
Akroma was first introduced in the original edition of the Dungeons & Dragons game as a minor deity, with a few spell-like abilities that clerics could select. In the 3rd edition of the game, she received her own book, titled Dragonlance: The Legend of Huma. In this book, Akroma was reintroduced as the ruler of the pantheon of gods and goddesses in the world of Krynn.

Akroma was founded in 2002 by vocalist and guitarist Ryan VanderMeulen and drummer Mats Levén. The band features VanderMeulen on vocals and guitar, Levén on drums, and bassist Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth.
The band's debut album, "Angelic Warlord", was released in 2003 through Metal Blade Records. The album has since been re-released by Century Media Records. Akroma toured in support of the album throughout North America, Europe, and Japan.
